What You’ll Do

Craft the best of Indian cuisine in this vegetarian-friendly cooking workshop with Chef Ekta.

Get comfortable mixing vibrant, classic flavors from fresh vegetarian ingredients and traditional Indian cooking techniques in this hands-on cooking class taught by Chef Ekta.

First, mix up a pillowy soft potato filling for handmade samosas served with traditional herby chutney. Next, you'll simmer mushrooms, peas and onions in a creamy gravy sauce. paired with a side of vegetable pulao studded with beans, carrots and peas. For dessert, Chef Ekta will teach you how to make a creamy dessert pudding of kheer or seviyan spiced with cardamom and saffron.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

After perfecting her baking sessions for in-person and virtual settings, Chef Ekta has expanded her audience to include a new wave of home chefs.

Chef Etka was a lovely host and educator! My partner and I throughly enjoyed the entire experience from beginning to end! The food tasted great— and she also had us gauge the flavor of the food— tasting at various intervals of the cooking process to ensure it was to our liking. She explained that it’s more intuitive to taste the food and adjust your salt/spice versus following a recipe in a strict fashion. Chef Etka has a calm presence and creates a safe and fun learning environment. Highly recommend! We left with a recipe booklet of the dishes we cooked that evening as well.

Chef Ekta was a fantastic chef and teacher! Learning to cook Indian was an absolute delight and soo delicious! Def recommend anyone looking for a fun date night or a fun experience with friends or fam.
