Learn to prepare Italian fare with an extra dash of style in this hands-on cooking class from Chef Javier. His thoughtful takes on traditional recipes turn the heat up on how special Italian dining can be.

You'll begin by preparing black rice arancini featuring asparagus and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese. Then, create fettuccine arrabbiata using handmade pasta and Ontario veal, flavored with olives and fresh basil. And for a dessert that reinvents luxury, whip up a creamy panna cotta prepared with lavender, smoked fruit and the crunch of peanut brittle.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

I enjoyed the class. Though it would be helpful if the description would be more accurate. The class isn’t exactly “hands on”. The chef will describe Step by step instructions on how to make the food and will allow you to participate. I was looking for a more hands on experience where a chef will teach and you will have your own station recreating the recipe. However overall the class was great.
