Cooking Class - Make True Italian Pizza, Pasta and Tiramisù in Rome

What You'll Do

Craft Roman-Neapolitan pizza, seasonal fresh ravioli and classic tiramisù in the heart of Rome.

There is no better place to learn the art of Italian cooking than in Rome itself – and this hands-on cooking class near Piazza Mattei puts you right at the heart of it. Guided by a local Italian chef with deep roots in Roman culinary tradition, you'll spend a few hours crafting three beloved dishes from scratch, with a glass of wine and genuine Roman hospitality throughout.

Every recipe here is authentic – made the way Romans actually make them, with local ingredients sourced from the same markets the chef visits every week.

The session moves through a Roman-Neapolitan pizza you'll stretch and top yourself from a selection of seasonal toppings, followed by fresh ravioli with a filling that changes with the market – ricotta and spinach, cacio e pepe, artichoke, pumpkin and more. A classic tiramisù is assembled by hand to close. If you are traveling to Rome and want to bring a little of its culinary soul home with you, book your spot today.

On Reddit I had asked for a recommendation for a cooking class for my birthday in Rome and this was recommended to me! I not only prepared spaghetti, ravioli, and tiramisu from scratch but it turned out to be such a special place for warm, birthday vibes. You'll have a lot of fun and prepare some amazing food.

My partner and I were lucky enough to have Chef Marco teach our cooking class in Rome in October, which was at the beginning of our two-week vacation in Europe. We were two of eight people in the class, providing us an incredible opportunity to learn from an expert chef, bond with other people in the course, and make some lifelong memories. Marco was an outstanding teacher, walking us through the ingredients and methods to make a delicious meal of gnocchi, pumpkin ravioli with parmesan, butter, and sage, and tiramisu. We had such a wonderful time that we're still talking about the class and feel like it was the highlight of the trip. Marco even gave us a recommendation for a pizzeria in Naples, where we were headed a few days later, and it was by far the best pizza we had during our visit. Bonus: the kitchen is steps away from the Colosseum so we were treated to a spectacularly lit scene when we left this amazing cooking experience. It was such a special night and we highly recommend Chef Marco and his classes as a way to make lifelong memories in Rome.

It was a great class. David was a great chef. I enjoyed every aspect of the class and would recommend it. We made pizza, ravioli, and gelato. Looking forward to doing it again one day.
