Chef Davide always found the place where he could best express himself, communicate, and have fun was the kitchen. He began working in kitchens at age 16 and moved to Europe to explore different cuisines firsthand after graduating. He quickly landed at a culinary academy in Italy and graduated with honors. Chef Davide has since donned many chef hats, including those as a private chef, consultant, instructor and entrepreneur.

Chef Davide was great! For Christmas, I gave my grown kids gift cards for Cozymeal, and we all chose to attend this class together from our own kitchens. Afterward we connected on Facetime as we ate the DELICIOUS meal we made. Everyone appreciated how well Chef Davide led the class and we learned some new tips. Great experience!

This turned into a fantastic non traditional wedding shower. The family is scattered all over the US. Both of my sons one with wife and kids and one with the bride cooked from their homes and I had the ladies club introduced to the new family members. Lots of laughter as we learned new skills. Great way to make a new family memory. I'm thinking of doing this once a year with the family since we all had such a good time. Also, yes at times Chef Davide goes too fast. Just speak up and he will give you time to catch up. I really liked how he checked out progress on our recipes. Learned a lot from the class. Highly recommend

This is our third class with Chef Davide. As expected, it was a pleasure to cook with him. His instructions are clear and the recipes always turn out perfectly - although, we will need to continue building our skills on rolling out fresh pasta! It always amazes us how he can make such delicious food from simple ingredients. He adds to the class with a bit of history of Italy. Wonderful.

Chef Davide is a true professional chef. From 1000's of miles away, he will advise you on each step of the process by looking at your dough and making sure you are set up (as much as possible) for success. Looking forward to the next class.

We did a class with our whole family. 9 people 3 cities. I didn't think there would be enough time to learn two whole recipes and make fresh pasta and get feedback and feel successful, but Chef Davide slayed like Yonce. It was really cool and we all had so much fun and the food was delicious! Chef was constantly checking in with each person and giving feedback. I will recommend his class to everyone!

Our pasta tasted amazing and Chef Davide's clear instructions makes it very easy to prepare larger amounts if desired.

It was excellent! Chef Davide was great. I liked how he repeated things a few times because it can get a little overwhelming listening in while cooking. He was great!
We got everything done with 10 min to spare which was good because I was still finishing up.

Chef Davide is truly incredible and the value of the class was far beyond our expectations. We did a private class as a college reunion and Chef Davide not only taught us how to perfect this meal, but also learn skills and create an engaging environment for our friends to reconnect. We had an amazing time in our virtual private cooking class with Chef Davide! He was such a great teacher. He kept us moving at the right pace. There was never a dull moment, but he made sure we were keeping up and doing everything right. He was very personable and kept the class light and fun. The class was very informative. We learned a lot and of course, most importantly, the dinner afterward was so delicious. We are excited to do another class with Chef Davide soon!

Chef Davide’s class was fantastic! I was nervous going into my first cooking class but he was patient, thorough and quite witty. He made making pasta a joy and way less intimidating (not to mention the food was delicious). As soon as we finished I was recommending the class to friends and family and looking for my next class. The pasta class was really fun and educational ?
There were about 12-15 of us. We were all muted and had our video on. We unmuted to ask questions. Chef Davide interacted with each of us individually to have us show him our pastas and gave us feedback as we were processing them and after finishing.
We had ours for dinner and it tasted great.
I’m looking forward to more classes.

Really enjoyed the class and the meal was delicious! It always helps to pre chop/grate everything and have things ready to go so you can keep up with the class. Absolutely loved the panna cotta dessert which I've never made before and making homemade pasta was easier than I thought! YUM!

This was our 4th class with Chef Davide. He is our favorite. He is personable, knowledgeable, and patient as he teaches us how to create great Italian foods. Every time we take a class with Chef we leave smarter and very happy. What a fun night! Chef Davide was not only clear and patient with his instruction, but was also entertaining and humorous! We booked this class for a date night meal and it was a wonderful experience in learning a kitchen skill. Making homemade pasta was new for us, but learning to do this from Chef Davide was easy. We enjoyed the pasta making class. Chef Davide explained every step in a simple and fun way. He made sure everyone was following. He answered questions and guided each one of us. I used the pasta maker machine but he will teach you how to cut the pasta using your knife. I will definitely recommend this class and I will be taking more classes with chef Davide

Our class was amazing!! Chef Davide was engaging, funny, and very knowledgeable. He gave us tips as we worked and gave each participant personal feedback. In an hour and a half, we made 2 delicious dishes from start to finish! I would definitely recommend this class!!!

This was our 3rd class with Chef Davide and, as always, it was a wonderful experience. Chef Davide has the perfect combination of being fun and friendly and keeping everyone on task. He explains and demonstrates everything very clearly and gives plenty of opportunity for us to ask questions or show our work for guidance if needed. The dishes are always awesome. Chef Davide was amazing! Enthusiastic, encouraging, patient, and most of all had a good sense of humor. I can't imagine the moving parts to hosting an involved cooking class to 10+ people over Zoom. This was really fun. Chef Davide is an excellent host and walked us through his recipe in easy-to-understand segments. I like how he kept class size small and checked in on everyone individually, to make sure we got the pasta dough correct. He gave useful feedback and the meal turned out DELICIOUS. This class was wonderful! I love food that is eaten seasonally, and I love how the classes center around this principle. The pumpkin risotto was so light and delicious and the bruschetta was out of this world. I couldn't stop eating it, i wish i had leftovers lol You will always walk out of one of Chef Davide's classes with a tool in your chefs hat that you didn't have prior. You not only learn an amazing dish, but I love the attention to detail, presentation and thought that this chef puts into all of his dishes. I have taken this chef's other class before and cant recommend them enough. This is a perfect autumn and holiday meal :)

Wonderful! This class was a gift for my husband's 38th birthday because he loves to cook. This was our first time using Cozymeal and Chef Davide gave a great class. My husband made risotto before and it didn't come out the way he wanted. Today he learned how to do it right and it tasted great! Really love how chef told us the history of Trivoli which made the experience very cool ( I googled the fountains he spoke about). We will reserve a class again and we highly recommend!

After taking 3 classes with him already, my fiancГ©, my parents and I signed up for the spaghetti and meatballs class and enjoyed every minute of it! Not only was the class fun, educational and engaging, but the food was not to be believed! This was more than just a cooking class it was an IMMERSIVE experience, into an authentic Italian atmosphere in all senses of the word. Chef Davide transports you from the start of class into a visual world through photos of the region where he is cooking, and then inspires you through light atmospheric music, while he cooks with you on this journey together. I was having so much fun, in between rolling Raffaello with coconut, and flipping my pan in between with rice, and waiting for it to slowly come back( a technique you learn from his class), the class seemed to fly by. Every part of the experience was immersive and his technique is flawless. He gives you ample time to finish each section so you never feel rushed. He reminds you to relax and enjoy the process, and his radiant positivity encourages you along the way. If you are looking for a true night out, or I should I say in, then look no further. You will learn technique, plating, process, and all the while just having fun and enjoying the time. Thank you chef! you were awesome !

We had a great class with Chef Davide. He was patient and very knowledgeable. Chef explained every part of the process in detail making it easy to follow along. And obviously the end product was delicious. I would recommend Chef Davide's classes to anyone.

Chef Davide was amazing. Super knowledgeable and also a great teacher. My idea of cooking is preheating an oven for pre-packaged food. But with my lack of skill, Chef Davide was able to still guide me towards making delicious fettuccini and ravioli.
If you book his class, you will most certainly not regret it.

Chef Davide led us through an intimate cooking class to make homemade pasta, sauce and raviolis. This was my first time doing something like this and we had a ton of fun! Chef Davide was sure to be clear about the ingredients and directions. He checked on us through each step and was able to give individual feedback to help us along (especially me when I struggled with my sticky dough!). Be prepared for a bit of a mess, but be more prepared to thoroughly enjoy your food & time with Chef Davide!

Chef Davide's class was great! We booked a private session with my mom, my aunt and my sisters who live in different corners of the States and this was a wonderful way to bring the family together virtually. Chef Davide did a great job of looking at all of our work individually and making sure to help us each feel like we were getting the hang of the different techniques that he taught. He was also incredibly patient with us would recommend this to anyone.
Hot tip: Make sure that you prepare all of the ingredients ahead of time, this is a fast paced class!

My girlfriend and I have always wanted to hand-make pasta and this was the perfect class to learn how. Chef Davide gives very clear instructions and lets you know what steps to focus on the most. He checks in with you regularly to see your progress and is very encouraging. The ravioli filling we made was so simple and yet it was one of the best we've ever had! Chef Davide also does a great job of placing you in the moment with him in his small Italian village, giving you the history of the place while you cook. Highly recommend this class for anyone wanting to learn to make and cut their own pasta. Also, a great class for date night if you want an authentic Italian experience.

My husband and I bought this class on a whim and absolutely LOVED the experience! Chef Davide was very involved and stayed with our class every step of the way to ensure we'd all end up with an excellent dish. The best, and most hopeful, part was when he described how the ravioli filling was supposed to taste so we could all adjust the ingredients on our end! Something so small really brought our dish over the top and helped us experience (and create) the best ravioli we've ever had.

Super fun class. I've tried to make pasta on my own before, but totally failed. It was so helpful to work along with Davide to understand the fundamentals of making pasta. We had an amazing experience in Chef Davide's virtual Pasta Making cooking class! In just about 2 hours, we made 2 types of pasta (fettuccine and ravioli), two sauces and had enough food for a family of four! Wonderful class. Chef Davide consistently checks in with all participants to ensure recipes are going well for everyone (ex. making everyone show the pasta dough to the camera with a pressure test). He was clear we were going to take our time to go through the recipes, and added nuggets of information throughout. We had a lot of fun, and definitely recommend.

Chef Davide gave me more feedback and tips on how to make pasta from scratch than any course I've ever taken. It was the first time my own pasta actually turned out and tasted fantastic! Thank you.
My retirement was supposed to involve travel and cooking classes, starting first with Italy! Unfortunately, that won't happen for awhile yet. This was the next best thing.
The only minor comment I would have is whether Cozymeal could start indicating the length of the classes. This one was 2.5 hours, which was fine with me and, yes, I agree cooking should be a slow, rather sensory, process. But knowing it upfront would have helped me plan the day better. Minor comment from me...... it certainly does NOT detract from the overall experience!

I purchased this class as a birthday gift for my lovely boyfriend Eric (a couple reviews below mine), and, since we are currently socially distanced from one another, I figured it would be fun if I signed up as well. I wasn't exactly sure how this would pan out over zoom, but it turned out to be so much fun! Davide was pleasantly upbeat, witty, helpful, and made it easy to follow along. Even though my dough was insistent on remaining sticky, with a bit of guidance, it finally cooperated and made for some delicious pasta. Being transported from NYC to Italy for a couple of hours was a wonderful and tasty way to spend a Sunday afternoon! *As some other reviews have mentioned, I would definitely suggest prepping everything in advance, including having your pots and pans out and ready to use.

Wonderful class with Chef Davide! He is so personable and keeps the class fun! He shared so many fun facts and tips with us. We loved making our own fettuccine and ravioli by hand for the first time. Chef Davide was so pleasant, patient and fun. The cozymeal site said the class would be only 75 minutes, but Chef Davide spent more than two hours with us. Many laughs and some inside stories about how things happen in a professional kitchen. The recipe turned out great. We will do this again someday.

Wonderful experience! We had a blast making pasta from scratch with a true Italian Chef. Davide was a lot of fun and he was a great teacher. He also made sure that we were on track throughout the lesson. Highly recommend!

I can't say how amazing this cooking class was!! Chef Davide was exceptional and very interactive with our group of 10. Loved his singing and history of his town in Italy he gave us. He created a great vibe and made all feel comfortable. AND the food we all cooked was fabulous!! We all couldn't believe we all cook it. Chef Davide was a wonderful host. He shared his lovely home with you throughout the experience to make you feel like you were in Italy right alongside him. I loved how he demonstrated and gave you clear examples along the way and then checked your work and helped you along. Both of my dished came out much better than I expected! And I was able to share the results with my family. All without have to leave the house.

I had a team event with Chef Davide today and it was such a lovely experience! He gave lots of greats tips for making a successful tiramisu and risotto and I found him easy to follow along. My favorite part of the class was him showing us his garden where he picks peppers and fresh herbs to use and the sunset that was happening in Italy! He was patient, answered everyone's questions, and was very encouraging. Super fun and I can't wait to recreate what I learned.

Chef Davide was very organized, engaging, and I love how he had an Italian accent! He was still very easy to understand and follow throughout the class. He did seem to speed up just slightly toward the end - thankfully, we had everything measured and prepped in bowls prior to the class (HIGHLY recommend that - there is no way you'd be able to keep up if it wasn't all measured out). The final dish (risotto) was also absolutely delicious!

Hi, culinary school has been a dream, working in a restaurant has not been. Lol For this class, i will say... i almost ate all the ravioli filling on its own. The flavor and taste is there.
I've tried to make pasta twice on my own. The recipe that Chef Davide gives you is close to the same as what you can going online in terms of making pasta dough. But he can advise you on how to kneed and roll it. I'll be honest, I've tried a few times using an online video with a kitchenmade. My dough is always been super chewy. Rolling pasta dough is kind of an art. I definitely think.
I took this class and I honestly know I'm over rolling. Chef Davide was around to stop me from making taffy. No joke. My pasta was not perfect, but it was much closer to fresh pasta, and much better than dry past. That's for sure. Plus the filling for the ravioli and the tomato sauce were really good.

Chef Davide is the very best! We have taken two classes with him. He is very patient and detailed. He teaches in a way that makes what would normally be hard seem easy. He also seems very much into what he is doing and makes sure that every person in the class is getting attention. I don't know how he does it but he can see if your dough is too dry or not ha ha. He is our very favorite and we cannot wait to take another class with him. Highly recommend!

Fun class! Davide was knowledgeable and thorough, and very focused to keep the 6 of us on track to complete 5 recipes in 90 minutes. The recipes were written exactly as he worked through them, and included very simple ingredients. We managed, and my 16-yr-old son devoured both ravioli in butter sauce and fettuccini in tomato sauce in minutes, to rave reviews.

Chef Davide did a great job, my only criticism would be that he moved to fast for some who doesn't cook regularly. Though he did go over parts when asked, it would of been nice if the pace wasn't so fast the whole class. Still, thanks to the chef for teaching me something new!

Chef Davide did a good job. I liked the flavor of the meal and plan to make it again. My noodles did not turn out to perfection but hopefully I will get it there next time I try. I had accidentally signed up for more devices than I wanted and messaged Chef Davide after the class was over and he was able to refund me for the extra device I had registered for on accident.

Taking an online cooking class was a new experience for us and we enjoyed it thoroughly. The length of the class was tight for the two dishes being prepared but we were successful and completed them within the time scheduled. Chef Davide is wonderful. This was my 2nd class with him and the food is delicious. I had technical difficulties in getting on the zoom call due to being given the wrong code by cozymeal, so I missed some of the class. The risotto and gelato class has a lot of steps, so it may be challenging for beginners to get everything done in time. Chef Davide's pasta making class is less complex. But in both classes, the food was great.

We had such a nice visit with Chef Davide. He taught us some things that made him smile and chuckle like I always wanted to know how to crack an egg open using only one hand! I will leave a tip happily but I want to save money for our next private class. Delaney, told me that what we made was vegetarian not vegan, the 9 year old seems to know the difference! She is a natural from birth vegetarian. She doesn't like tomatoes so next class we will try to leave that out if that is possible in Italian cooking! The class was excellent. Chef Davide was clear from the outset how long each recipe was going to take. During each step, he was very good at keeping the group together, checking with each of us through every stage to make sure we were in compliance with his direction. He was careful to repeat the steps to ensure that we understood just what was expected of us. It was our first class with Cozymeal (and with Davide) and we enjoyed it very much. And the fettucini and panna cotta tasted great! We hope it wasn't just beginners' luck. We would like to take more classes from him in the near future.

Love the class, love chef Davide, appropriate amount of challenge, and lots of encouragement! Food turned out pretty good for our first try and definitely beginner friendly. Make sure to pre-measure and prepare your ingredients because the class goes pretty quickly! Overall, we loved everything!!!!

I have taken cooking classes at different places and this was one of the best. I have also tried multiple times to make fresh pasta in the past and haven’t been successful. Had an excellent private (far-flung family) session with Chef Davide. He was both entertaining and informative, as well as experienced at pacing the entire event - even allowing for some banter since we knew the other participants. Might give us more heads up on the gelato flavoring choices, perhaps to conduct a strategy session on what is obviously the most critical part of the meal ;-)

This was our first experience with any online cooking class. I wanted something the entire family could do together. If you have teenagers you know that’s virtually impossible! Not only did ours actively participate, at one point they took over. Davide was great!! Davide is wonderful! He makes cooking the dishes easy and fun. He keeps you entertained and provides lots of information. The food was incredibly delicious as well. The only thing I would change is the 2 vanilla Gelato's were just a little too sweet for us, so if you can find some less sweet condensed milk we would suggest that (we used eagle brand). The chocolate was perfect because the bitter cocoa powder balanced it.

Chef Davide is terrific! This was our second class with him and we enjoyed both the process and the product! Our one suggestion is to have more clarity up front about the equipment and prep you need to do before the class. Recipes and instructions said to prep and chop all ingredients beforehand, but Chef walked us through that together, which was better! That being said, we will definitely do it again!

It does help to have everything measured out before hand, as you start with one of the recipes, and while that one is cooking, then you go to another recipe, etc. Save several cooked shrimp (one per person) for the end. You put one shrimp on each persons plate of risotto at the end, before serving. All three dishes (including the homemade gelato) were delicious. Highly recommend this class! Thank you, Chef Davide!

We had a wonderful time cooking with Chef Davide. As long as you have your ingredients prepared in advance you'll be able to follow along. Chef Davide helped with ingredient substitutions during our event. He explained how substitutions could altar flavor or textures. Very helpful. I appreciate the accommodations made for the vegetarians in our group and the flexibility of adding panna cotta. We enjoyed our meal and dessert. We wish that we were able to take a group photo (screenshot) but we ended so quickly. This was our first experience and will not be the last. Thank you!

I requested a private cooking event (virtual) for me and my three friends as a birthday celebration. Chef Davide was fantastic! Although it was virtual (he was LIVE from Italy!!!) it was as if he was right there with us. He even made us show him our product as we were cooking to ensure we were successful. In the end, we made homemade pasta and two sauces and had a lot of laughs and an amazing meal to share together. Thank you Chef Davide. We will be signing up for another class with you!!

The meal that we preparerd was delicious! It was helpful when Davide would look at our cooking process, to see if it was ready or if we needed to cook/whip longer.
It was a good paced class and enjoyed his style of teaching.
Things to be improved:
- when using the word "WHIP", it means with a mixer
- tell what size of containers to put the gelato in
- explain that the Shrimp Bisque was going to be used to make the Risotto and that it was not a meal with in itself

He was a great teacher - clear with his instructions, great at answering questions, and kind about checking our progress along the way. This class was GREAT. Davide was so attentive to the students and made sure that we were all progressing along. He managed the class time well, and even gave us a minute or two to clean along the way. His stories were informative and I learned more about wine from any other mixology class I'd taken. Spaghetti and meatballs seems like an "easy" recipe that "anyone" could do, but wait until you taste it made under the guidance of a chef.

My first class and it was very good. My only comment is that trying to complete 4 different recipes is challenging for someone's first on-line class and first attempt at making pasta dough. This is compounded if you are attempting to cook for 4 people. Perhaps an introduction to making pasta dough would be a good suggestion for newcomers. Chef Davide was wonderful and did a remarkable job leading the class.

We have now taken 2 classes with Chef Davide and have learned so much. Davide starts the class with the agenda and then takes you on a trip to Italy with his food. He shares what I'm sure are family tips to take a simple dish such as spaghetti and meatballs to the next level.

I was nervous about how we could make pasta virtually given how easily you can get too dry or too wet. But, Davide did an incredible job ensuring we were all keeping up and on the right track. We had a delicious meal!

Wow! This was our first class and we were dazzled! Chef Davide is very entertaining, engaging, but also easy to follow. We had a lot of fun plus we learned a lot. We cannot believe we made linguine and ravioli!!! We found his instructions made it super easy. We will be utilizing the pasta and sauce recipes often. We will be searching for more classes led by him. Chef Davide could easily have his own cooking show!

This was a great class. Chef Davide managed it very well, checked in with every participant, and was able to coach us through pasta-dough-making from over 4000 miles away!

My wife and I booked a private class for our anniversary and we're so happy we picked a class with Davide. From the get go he was so warm and friendly - even showed us the great view he has. Davide talked through the recipes and steps very clearly and helped us understand why we did things a certain way or used specific ingredients. And in the end the food tasted amazing! Couldn't recommend Davide more and we'll definitely try to take another class with him in the future.

Had the pleasure of participating in Chef Davide's Fettuccine and Ravioli class on May 29th: what a great experience! The pace was not too fast and the Chef took the time to check that each participant was on track by checking our dough and pasta and providing advice when we needed it. Really fun interactive experience, would highly recommend and look forward to taking more classes like this in the future! We had such a great time at Chef Davide's pasta making class. It was our first time making pasta by hand and he moved at a great pace and explained everything really well. Pasta making can be challenging but we felt confident that anything we made with Chef Davide would turn out perfectly! This class was so much fun. I plan to take more of his classes this summer so when I teach my students how to cook I’m doing it right! I teach the class based on other qualifications but the cooking part has me tripped up a bit. It’s nice to know I can now teach my 7th and 8th graders how to do a nice fresh pasta. I can’t wait until my triplets get home tonight so I can teach them how to do it too. They will love it!

I gifted my wife for this course for an early birthday present. She was a little nervous when the class began. By the end she was singing and dancing. Chef Davide has amazing recipes with simple ingredients that are out of this world. My wife had a great time cooking with my daughter. They really enjoyed Chef Davide's personality. The class was amazing! Chef Davide was patient and precise. The resulting food was delicious and made from such simple ingredients! I have made tomato sauce from scratch before and this just tasted wayyyy better. It isn't easy conveying the skills needed to cook pasta from scratch but Chef Davide did a great job. This was a private work event and we engineers love the technical details, Chef Davide humored us and and even provided that. Thank you!

Chef Davide was great! He gave great instructions to help modify if there was one or two or 4 people attending. He added special tricks....like as soon as you see the garlic have the first bubble in the oil, remove or it will be bitter. He also let us personalize our flavors, from the herbs in the butter to the testing of the ravioli filling and how to adjust. Thank you--I'm looking forward to our next class together!

I surprised my husband with the Cozymeal experience as a different twist on our weekly date night. It was an AMAZING experience and well worth the cost. Chef Davide is engaging and fun, and his passion for food shows in his teaching. He carefully guided us through our meal while providing helpful kitchen techniques and sharing Italian history. His knowledge of the wine selections and the importance of proper pairing was a bonus. We have already signed up for another one of his classes, and can't wait for that experience!

This was my first online cooking class and Chef Davide was fantastic! He is clearly a very skilled chef and took the time to make sure each participant was successful in making homemade pasta and panna cotta, which was delicious! He moved with precision, but not too fast so as to fall behind. My best friend and I had a fun time and enjoyed a little wine in the process :) Would definitely recommend his cooking classes to my friends and family!

For our friend's retirement, we organized a Surprise Private Class for 23 friends. Chef Davide was a fantastic teacher and a lot of fun! We were able to communicate easily with him about our plans and he was very attentive to every message we sent.

The only thing I did not like was that the class was a little larger than I expected.
I think I could watch a YouTube video as there really was no personal connections other than if you asked a question. Smaller class sizes would be recommended.

This was such a fun session - Chef Davide's class format was engaging, the recipe was incredible (those meatballs!) and the background information on the wines, areas of Italy, etc. were also interesting. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The event was outstanding, and my wife loved the experience. Chef Davide explained and demonstrated cooking techniques at the right level of detail. The course was very well paced, had a variety of recipes to cook, and lasted the perfect amount of time for us. And of course the food turned out delicious, which really shows Chef Davide's talent considering what a bad cook I am.

My husband and I enjoyed our class very much. The food was delicious and the online instruction with the chef was fantastic. He provided real time feedback to each person in the class which was a great way to learn. The ingredients list slightly differed from the recipe that is provided after purchase, so make sure to buy your class prior to shopping so that you get the accurate ingredients (ie tomato sauce listed initially in class description and diced tomatoes listed in actual recipe). The chef prepares food for one person but is very clear about what you need to do to prepare food for more than one person which is very helpful. It would be nice if he prepared food for two to slow him down just a little as it is easy to fall behind if you are preparing food for two people. Definitely make sure you have prepared all of your ingredients ahead of time as suggested. This was a great class. I would highly recommend it.

Davide was very friendly and checked on all of our dishes throughout the class. I did find it a bit confusing to have the ingredients listed separately for the dishes but we were supposed to use all of one to make the pasta so I ended up with 1/2 the pasta and a bowl of unused flour due to that. It would also be helpful to get a list of the equipment needed. I didn’t have the right sauce pan. The same happened to a friend of mine in the class. We would do it again. It was as fun and the food ended up being very good.

Overall, he did a really good job. A heads up that we should have made or ravioli dough into a square (versus the triangle I ended up with) would have made the process smoother.

Chef Davide was engaging and very easy to understand. Over 2+ hours he patiently walked us through transforming simple ingredients into two delicious meals. He made it easy to understand each step and called out key things to look out, which is much appreciated in a virtual class. Highly recommend this class for a date night or group cooking class!

What an enjoyable and family oriented afternoon learning to cook authentic pasta with Chef Davide and my family across the states via ZOOM. Chef David straight from Italy transported us to his kitchen as we prepared a meal with love and laughter and, of course, some wine! Chef Davide was absolutely spectacular! He shepherded us through a lovely pasta lesson and not only was excellent at explaining the cooking, he paid individual attention to each of our guests and made sure everybody had fun. All over Zoom and from Italy! Chef has a very good sense of humour - and sings well! We held a virtual cooking birthday party and the birthday boy had an amazing time. Plus we had a wonderful dinner and now know how to make excellent homemade ravioli! I would absolutely recommend!

The cooking class with Chef Davide was fantastic! We had an amazing time and learned to cook the most fantastic ravioli and fettuccine. Not only was his teaching fantastic, but he was also so warm and passionate. This was one of the most unique and fun experiences ever! My brother and I had so much fun!! Chef Davide took the time to look at each participants work to be sure we would have a positive outcome. I know it would take a couple of extra minutes, but I’d love to know where the others in the class were from. It would take a minute to start out and each person say where they are zooming from. It helps too if you have one other person with you writing down some of Chef’s tips and steps not included in the recipe. In this class, you fold the dough and slam it down some in the process and that’s not in the printed recipe. Helps to have that second person too to help clean up the broken bowl that may shatter when you slam that dough down just a little too much! It was an experience I’d do again! So much fun and delicious!!

Chef David's class was a lot of fun for my family. He was patient and down to earth and gave great tips. The food was excellent and we learned new techniques. My only suggestion would be to have more accurate ingredients beforehand with measurements so that we don't have to scramble last minute or buy stuff that we don't end up using (I had spinach measured and washed and a lot of extra ricotta cheese are directed but we didn't end up using it).

Chef Davide is such an amazing teacher. He's very pacient and fun, he really wants you to learn not just about the food, but the culture behind it. Every plate turns out exquisite and his classes always boost my mod. He's clearly quite charming wich is a plus. Definiteley reccomend him for a well rounded, fun, informative lesson.

We recently took a team building cooking class with Chef Davide and had a lovely time. It was amazing to learn authentic Italian cuisine from a chef who is actually from Italy. He also gave us a tour of his herb garden and it just added to the experience. I would highly recommend any class with Chef Davide as you will have a great time and learn a lot about Italian history, cuisine, etc.

Great Italian cooking experience in Rome
The best Italian cooking class ever you can join! Davide is a great cuoco, very nice. We had a lot of fun cooking and we had a wonderful dinner afterwards. Davide is a great chemist too, explaining all processes producing pasta and sauces, simply brilliant and interesting! And telling stories about the origin of the recipes. I highly recommend it!

Entertaining Hands on pasta making class
Highly recommend! Our instructor Chef Davide was very informative, down to earth, and provided detailed guidance with every step of pasta making. The class was entertaining and held in a group of about 8 people but Chef Davide provided individual direction and answered each and every question of everyone attending. Very kid friendly, my 10 year old daughter especially loved the experience.

Do I be honest? He’s kind of typical stereotype young Italian male with that youthful aire of arrogance without the life experience to carry it. I loved how a seemingly complex menu was simplified and done quickly. But you have to know the entire experience. The meal wasn’t exactly as it implies. The bisque is something you have to go on and complete on your own. I booked the same day of the class and purchased groceries that were needed. Upon entering the virtual class there was an awkward dialogue where the instructor explained that the system double booked this lesson…okay…with a full bag of fresh groceries…ummmm…then suddenly the other party cuts into the discussion (oh, hi there?) and says that they would be okay if I stayed. Okay. Sure… (?). It was just an okay lesson. From connection issues or technology issues or culinary issues with the other parties, 4 different meal preparations going on at once, trying to be upbeat throughout. And a bit of the Italian attitude. Dude. London’s culinary cuisine…? Really? We weren’t talking fish and chips, so don’t. I try to make the best of situations and I had these other ladies laughing and we were sipping wine (I really tried) and it was just okay. Now I get monthly reminders of this experience as I had signed up for what I thought would be a great learning opportunity now and going forward. So to be honest, the whole experience leaves me feeling unsatiated. Isn’t that ironic?

I received this class as a Christmas gift. It was my first Cozymeal class. Overall disappointed in the class.
1) The audio was terrible. I had my laptop on full volume and it was impossible to hear without my ear to the speaker (which is not helpful when you are trying to cook along). I eventually dialed in on my phone, and the audio was louder but marginally better quality. I use zoom daily for work.
2) The pace of the class was way too fast. I had my ingredients prepped, and recipes printed. If not for the printed recipes, I would have been absolutely lost. We finished the class in 1 hr 10 min (was supposed to be 1 hr 30 min) rather abruptly and this time could have been spent going at a normal pace. There was mention of a break, but I don’t think we ever had it.
3) Overall, low quality experience. Chef Davide demonstrated with representative ingredients. For example, he had a few meager vegetables in his pot (not the two onions, two carrots and two potatoes that we were prescribed). He also said to add the amount and then proceeded to eyeball it and dump from the rice container. I got the feeling I was watching Chef Davide cook from his small apartment - it appeared he was in a small corner of a room, with some floating shelves with spices behind him, and a table and hot plate. With his earbuds and probably his phone mounted as a camera, I question the authenticity of him being a chef at this point.
4) The printed recipes were incomplete, but given the full information they are quite simple. The risotto was quite bland, and I’m a bland diet kind of person. We didn’t add any of the vegetables from our broth (guess we were supposed to throw them out?) and so it was pretty plain. Thankfully my breadcrumbs were from cinnamon raisin bread and that gave it some flavor. The gelato was also nothing special - I have made homemade ice cream many times, and this was rather primitive. Is sweetened condensed milk authentic to Italian Gelato?

Chef didn't attend. I think one of the main issues is the CozyMeal displays its time in US timezones not the timezone of the user or chef. If this was the case I'm sure the issue wouldn't have occurred.

Food was good but the class needs some work. It's too compressed. Not enough instructions provided ahead of time, so while the chef is sitting there with everything ready, the average consumer is not. Only have ingredients, but unpackaging, washing etc. needs to be done ahead of time. Add 30 mins.
The other problem is that the chef is not cooking a realistic amount of food. He only cooks for one person, while most of the people in our class were cooking for two. This meant that we had twice as much work to do in some cases, which, added to our lesser expertise, meant that we took longer than the chef did. He had built in too little time for people to do the work. Next time, the chef should cook for two or add more time for people to finish. Class felt too rushed.
