When I travel I love booking a cooking class with the locals. Not only do you get to learn how to make the dishes of the country you're traveling to, you get to eat all the goodies once you've cooked them and meet some amazing people along the way. During my last few days in Thailand, I booked a class and had the best time with Chef Care, who really made me feel welcome and part of the family. If you happen to be in Phuket, this is an experience not to be missed.

...Both Care & Anne were wonderful & lovely hosts- both very friendly, bubbly and generous! we went to the market to get ingredients first, and Care and Anne took the opportunity to show us around the market. My friend & I were so glad we got to visit an authentic local thai market that the locals patron- and Care & Anne even went out of their way to buy extra snacks/drinks for us to try. The class itself was very fun and enjoyable, I didn't feel bored for a second. The kitchen is a homely place to cook in, & both Care & Anne took care of us very well. ...
