What You’ll Do

Discover a rainbow of Mediterranean ingredients while crafting a colorful menu curated by Chef Annette.

In this hands-on cooking class, use regional ingredients from land and sea to prepare a vibrant Mediterranean meal focusing on handmade, artisanal pizzas.

Begin with a savory starter of grilled lamb skewers with herbs and balsamic vinegar. Next, Chef Annette will teach you to make homemade pizza dough. A little squid ink gives the dough a deep black hue to echo the flavors of pizza nero with calamari and anchovies. Craft tangy red sauce for pizza rossa topped with Italian sausage and earthy sage. Whip up silky panna cotta for dessert.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

Originally from Mexico, Chef Annette’s career as a chef and cooking instructor has taken her to Dallas, Kentucky, Madrid, Sweden and Barcelona. She was formerly a pastry chef at a Michelin Star restaurant, a faculty member of a renowned Irish cooking school and has worked alongside Michelin Star awarded Chef Emmanuel Stroobant. Chef Annette has a passion for diverse ingredients that are versatile and locally sourced.
