What a great morning! The excursion to the market was a fun start and we were introduced to some local herbs and fruits and vegetables that aren't seen much outside of mexico. We purchased the fresh items that we needed and returned to the kitchen. Our group was 6 people and JosГ©, the chef, did an amazing job of keeping us involved and engaged. We chopped and sauteed and pureed and pounded. We even made corn tortillas from scratch. It was a fun, educational, and delicious morning (the sopa was my favorite!!). My husband and I had never taken a cooking class abroad before (or at home for that matter) but will definitely be doing so again. Thanks JosГ©!!!
