In this hands-on cooking class in Siena, you’ll learn traditional tips and techniques for preparing Italian pizza dough as a canvas for sweet and savory creations. Guided by a local pizza master, Chef Alessio, you will practice time-honored methods for creating soft, versatile dough.

Use your handmade dough to showcase a variety of regional toppings and pizza styles. You’ll fry an indulgent pie with stracchino cheese and Tuscan cured ham, then build a sampling of classics such as Margherita with juicy tomatoes and fresh basil or savory Capricciosa with spicy salami, mushrooms and olives. Finally, Nutella, mascarpone and fresh fruit transform your dough into a decadent dessert.

Chef Alessio prepares traditional Tuscan food and it is delicious. He has great teaching techniques and his classes are fun and educational. You will feel like a real Tuscan chef when you are finished!
