What You’ll Do

Discover the techniques and ingredient manipulation to become an expert sushi master.

During this interactive cooking class, Chef Rowyn will introduce you to the world of sushi making. You’ll learn how to slice and dice ingredients, and explore techniques to make sushi rice.

Start by preparing edamame and crispy seaweed. Then, top sushi rice with sliced vegetables and smoked salmon for gunkan and nigiri, and layer rice, vegetables and crab sticks into nori for a hand roll. Next, roll sushi with fresh vegetables, smoked salmon and crab sticks, and learn how to make black sesame or passion fruit mochi for dessert.

Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
