Cooking Class - Authentic Sushi-Making Techniques

What You’ll Do

Join Chef Dolma and perfect the delicate technique of authentic sushi making.

In this interactive cooking class, Chef Dolma will show you how to craft the perfect sushi rolls from start to finish, including how to finish the hand roll, or temaki, with the distinct cone shape.

During the course of the class, you'll prepare all sorts of traditional Japanese sushi house dishes, starting with miso soup and white fish carpaccio peppered with jalapeГ±o. Then, you'll learn how to make some of the most classic sushi rolls: Cucumber hosomaki, crab tempura futomaki with avocado, two types of nigiri and a salmon avocado hand roll.

Guests are welcome to provide wine and beer to enjoy during the class.

I was absolutely knocked out with the quality of the sushi roles! I had the mixed fish poke bowl and it truly was the best I’ve ever had, so many perfectly balanced different ingredients and a really generous portion too. I also ordered the amazing salad with matsuhisa dress and tuna tataki it’s a must try. I couldn’t recommend this lovely Chef Dolma more highly.

It was a surprise for my mum’s 60th birthday. What an amazing evening to have our family around us and experience such wonderful food and sushi in our own home. The food was incredible. Beautifully presented and fabulous flavours with best sushi in the area. I will definitely book again.
