Join this captivating cooking class with Chef Sandra, where you'll delve into the lesser-known dishes of Mexican cuisine. Starting with sikil paak, a unique dip made from ground pumpkin seeds, tomatoes, lime and onion. Moving on, you'll prepare a comforting lima soup, infusing the citrusy tang of lima with crispy tortilla strips, bell peppers, tomatoes and chicken broth. Then, start making panuchos, a YucatГЎn specialty where you'll stuff corn dough with refried beans, top it with chicken and garnish with pickled onions, lettuce and avocado. Finally, you'll craft a fiery Habanero chile salsa, balancing the intense heat of habanero peppers with garlic and olive oil.
Guests are welcome to bring wine and beer to enjoy during the class.
