We booked this because we couldn't leave Oaxaca without tasting all the mezcales and all the moles on offer and this was certainly a great way to do that. The setting was stunning and the presentation was lovely as well. I thought the pairing worked great and despite the very high price for small tastes of each, it was worth the experience. My only regret is that I bought and was really looking forward to the mole almendrado, and thought I had clearly explained that we were only traveling with hand luggage, but it was rudely taken away from us at the airport in Mexico city despite assurances by our host that because of the packaging, it would be allowed in. Very disappointing!

Do not hesitate to book this. It is a wonderfully unique experience that is put together in a very thoughtful way. Daniel and his team do a great job of creating a very convivial atmosphere, so much so that by the end of the tasting everyone in the group had become friends. Because Daniel is a mezcal sommelier and runs his own Agave Spirits Institute, he is obviously very knowledgeable about the subject, but he and his team explain it in a way that is accessible to all. Some highlights: 1) all the mezcal and mole are made locally and are incredibly unique; 2) the flavor notes of the mezcal are described & discussed well- but not in a pretentious or boring way, the atmosphere is always one of a party; 3) you are provided with well portioned tastes of both mezcal and mole; 4) Daniel created such a fun atmosphere that almost the entire group went out afterwards to a local wine bar, where Daniel provided us with more information about wine, food, etc. It was a raucous and highly enjoyable time that allowed us to make friends with both CDMX locals and other travelers. Don't hesitate- just book!

This was a truly wonderful experience! The educational aspect about mezcal was too knotch, I was stunned by their variety and nuance. I’m a big fan of mole and getting to taste so many was a joy! Highly recommend for any foodie!

My gf and I decided to do this experience the week before. My gf got sick and Daniel was super flexible and let us do it the following day instead. The event itself is in a super lovely part of town and the room it was in was super comfy and cozy. He went through the 7 moles and mezcals and it was super nice to be able to go at your own pace and really enjoy the tastings. The placemat is yours to keep so you can take notes and take it home which is great too! He had really nice music playing in the background which also really set the tone for this nice experience. We went home and this was definitely one of the highlights that we mention to our friends and will reco to everyone if in CDMX!

This is a wonderful experience and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys mezcal or is interested in learning more about mezcal. It's easy to see the passion of Daniel in this experience he has curated. Each mezcal and each mole has been expertly selected to create the best experience. The host of our tasting, Rosalina, did an amazing job explaining everything and answering our questions. I left the tasting with a deeper understanding of mezcal and mole flavors and their history. The experience was educational and delicious!

This is an insanely cool experience. I am not a huge Mezcal lover but I booked a private experience for a company team bonding activity. It blew us all away!!! It was so delicious and informative and fun!!! The space was intimate and the set up and aesthetic was so chic! Everything was perfect from the welcome drink to the last sip of mezcal. I highly recommend participating in this tour!

This experience was well-planned, from the welcome cocktail to the pairings of each mezcal with mole. Our hosts made us feel very welcome and walked us through everything about mezcal and mole – all of which are offered for purchase in their shop. We can't wait for our shipment to arrive back to the US so we can relive the experience at home!

We recently had the pleasure of booking this experience for a mezcal tour, and I must say it exceeded all our expectations. This mezcal adventure was an absolute highlight of my trip to Mexico, and I couldn't be happier with the experience.
our host was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about mezcal. They were not only well-versed in the history and production process but also had a deep appreciation for the cultural significance of mezcal in Mexico

This was such a fun experience! We were a group of 13 women on a bachelorette and so we were lively and ready to have fun and they definitely matched our energy! But also kept us engaged so we learned A LOT! definitely an experience you should add to your itinerary. I discovered my favorite is Madre Cuixe! And now know what to ask for when I’m ordering mezcal back in the states!
